Q: Do I have to log my food in MyFitnessPal?
A: No, you do not have to but it is strongly recommended - at least for the first few weeks. Sometimes it is very eye-opening for people to see what they are actually consuming in a given day... and not just because they could be eating too much - often people who work out as hard as we do are actually eating too little and do not realize it! Also, learning to have a good balance of macronutrients is very valuable for health and performance. While logging isn't mandatory for the challenge, please try it! At the very least you can do it to earn your daily participation point :)
Q: If I eat a "forbidden" food, do I lose my +5 points for the day (for following rules) AND lose 2 points for each one I consume?
A: Yes!! If you do not follow the rules for the day, you lose the 5 rules points... those are all or nothing. IN ADDITION, for each forbidden food you consume, you lose 2 points. So, if you follow all the rules for the day you get a total of +5 points for following. If you eat a cookie, your daily rules points would be -2. If you have two beers, your daily rules points would be -4... etc.
Q: Does my workout have to be a crossfit WOD to count and earn points?
A: No! You can do any kind of workout and it counts!
