At CrossFit S3 we have taken the CrossFit concept one step further. Our daily focus will be geared towards Strength, Speed and Stamina. We believe these 3 traits are what drive most well-rounded athletes. Our program will reflect these core principles on a daily basis and will strengthen your performance not only in a particular sport, but in all facets of life. Our classes are run in a group atmosphere, where camaraderie and accountability will naturally raise everyone’s level of fitness. There are no mirrors or fancy machines. We will run, row, jump, lift, and throw. You will work hard and learn how to use your body as one unit and over time you will become stronger and more fit because of it.
Crossfit S3 is conveniently located near South Charlotte, within miles of the Ballantyne area. The choice to be healthy is exactly that, a choice. It is filled with hard work, dedication and sacrifice. We believe that everyone is an athlete, and at CrossFit S3, you will be treated like an athlete. We are all built from the same DNA. We have been for centuries, and we all share a need for similar movement patterns and lifestyles to remain healthy and active. While we recognize that the demands of an Olympic athlete are more focused than the every day athlete, we also know that we can all choose to be active, strong, and healthy.
Our program is built for everyone and is adaptable to anyone. We have seen dramatic results in all of our clients including professional athletes, everyday people and even children. Although we have designed our program for everyone, we do acknowledge that not everyone may be built or ready for our program. We know our program demands hard work and daily dedication. We know it takes a certain brand of commitment and attitude, but if you have the heart and will to change your life, we promise to help you get there.

Why should I choose CrossFit S3?
We strive to build the best athletic program and hold you accountable to it. Through structure, progression and encouragement we want to help you succeed. All you have to do is come in with the mind set to work and everything else will take care of itself. We believe in our program, our professionalism and our quality.
It sounds too intense for someone my age?
Not true. We have clients of all ages (from youth to 65+) reaping the benefits of functional movement. Intensity is one of the last steps in our program. Our first priority is consistency. The intensity will come when you are ready.
Do I need to be an athlete to join CrossFit S3?
Not at all, but you’ll learn to train like an athlete. The program is scaleable to all levels of fitness. No matter what stage you are at in your fitness quest “S3” is right for you.

Why does it cost more than my current gym membership?
We don’t compete on price and never will. We recognize there are other options and programs out there. We encourage you to try them before coming to us. We believe in our company, our product and the quality of our program.

I am super fit! Do I have to go through the foundations program? Everyone will go through one of the two foundation programs in order to advance into our regular schedule. There are very few cases where an exception may be made. It will be a judgement call on the owners of CrossFit S3. You may be asked to perform a standard test to ensure you are ready to move into regular class.
What if I am visiting?
You must be either a current affiliate owner or client of an affiliate program. Please email us before hand so we know when to expect you. The drop in rate is $20/class or $49 for the week.
How often do I need to do this to see results?
Sometimes this is a loaded question, it really depends what else you are doing away from the gym. From other activities to your nutrition. Are you practicing Yoga?, a running enthusiast? or competing in some other form? This may dictate your frequency. If this is now your new sport or your only means of fitness we expect to see you often. In short, we are looking for clients who want to be here. This commitment is typically between 3 and 5 days a week and your results will come with work.
