CrossFit Named Workouts – Day 1
We have decided this week to host a full week of CrossFit original named workouts. We thought it would be a great way to put some benchmarks out there for everyone. Some days there will be choices involved that carry the same overall theme. This will allow for proper scaling but will also give people the freedom to choose the workout they wish to go after. Lets have fun with it this week and really push ourselves in these individual tests. We don’t do this often but I want to give everyone the heads up of what to expect this week. Incase you need/want to adjust your schedule to fit a certain workout in.
Monday – SPEED
“Griff”
* Everyone will be running today.
* All out, no coasting.
Tuesday – Explosive Speed
“Grace” or “Isabel”
* We allow the clients to choose which one they want to do.
* Both are short explosive workouts.
Wednesday – SPEED, STRENGTH AND STAMINA
” Cindy or Angie”
* Clients choice, similar workouts.
Thursday – Stamina
“Kelly”
* Everyone will be doing Kelly this day. It is a long one.
* Some people will need most of the hour to complete it.
Friday – Power and Endurance
“Diane” or “Elizabeth”
* Clients get to choose again
Saturday – Team named WOD day
“Fran and Jackie”
* One teammate does “Jackie” and the other “Fran” for a combined score.
* We want each team to game the workout
* Come up with a strategy to put up their best score
* We want the partner cheering on and counting the reps



For Saturday – is it “Fran and Jackie” like it reads in the headline, or is it “Karen and Fran” on the first bullet point?
